The 1985 South Australian National Football League season was the 106th season of the top-level Australian rules football competition in South Australia. Glenelg finished the Minor Round in 3rd place, and progressed to the Grand Final, defeating North Adelaide in a memorable victory. This was Glenelg's first Premiership since 1973.
