Justin McConnell was the inaugural Snouts Louts Sponsored Player 2006 - 2009.

At the end of 2005 McConnell was recruited from North Ballarat where he had been an attacking half back flanker, representing the VFL in this role. With Glenelg he soon developed into an opportunist forward with the ability to convert chances into goals. Over his 73 game career with Glenelg he kicked 160 goals, 94 behinds, topping the goal kicking list in 2007.
