Career

Ben Moore made his debut for the Tigers in 1995. He played a total of 8 League games in his first season before being drafted to the Richmond Football Club at the end of the 1995 season.

At Richmond he played 24 AFL games and kicked 11 goals over a four year period.

He returned to Glenelg in 2000 and was a critical part of the Clubs transformation from cellar dweller to being a competitive force in the SANFL. Moore captained the Tigers in 2004 and 2005. He stood down to allow a younger leader in Ben Mules to take the reins but was still part of the leadership group in 2006 and 2007.

Moore’s dedication to the Glenelg Football Club saw him win the much coveted ER Curnow Award for the best Club Man on 2 occasions.
