Andrew Bradley's smooth skills and confidence were recognised with promotion to the League side as a defender in 2010. He was the Round 13 "Star Search" nominee for the SANFL, recognising his excellent first season. Unfortunately for Andrew he broke his fibula in Round 19 against West Adelaide, jeopardising his chances of playing Finals in his first League season.

Highly regarded for his leadership skills, Bradley was appointed co-Captain - with Ty Allen - for season 2014, and thereafter sole Captain.

Regularly putting his body on the line for the Bays took its toll on Bradley. At the start of 2019 Bradley stood down from the captaincy after five years to ensure he would get the best out himself to contribute to the team.

It proved to be a pivotal move in Glenelg’s quest to finally end its 33-year premiership drought as Bradley finished fifth in the club’s best-and-fairest count.

Playing predominantly in defence throughout his career he would also push up to the wing on occasions.

Andrew is the son of David Bradley, and nephew of Phillip Bradley.
