Dylan Reinbrecht was clean at ground level, strong overhead and had a penetrating kick. A tough midfielder and strong tackler, he was also capable of holding down a defensive position.
Reinbrecht made his league debut for Norwood mid 2011, playing seven senior games for the season. He was also runner-up in the reserves best and fairest award (16 games). Reinbrecht then played another six league games in 2012 and won the reserves best and fairest (16 games).
After missing all of the 2013 season with a shoulder injury, he bounced back to play nine senior games in 2014 and was perhaps unlucky to miss out on a spot in that year's league premiership side.
Reinbrecht played 10 league games in 2015 and despite only playing eight matches for the reserves, was named joint winner of the 2015 Reserves Magarey Medal. Known for his high tackle rate, he twice recorded 18 tackles in a game - once against the Bays at Norwood.
Told by Norwood that he would find League matches hard to come by in 2016 he transferred to Glenelg, playing 16 league games.
After leaving the Bays he moved to the Echunga Football Club in the Hills Football League (2017-2019), and in 2020 he joined Rostrevor Old Collegians in the Adelaide Football League (SAAFL).
