Career

Brad Ottens debuted with Glenelg as a 17 year old, playing 15 games in his one and only Senior season.

He was drafted by Richmond (AFL) at the end of the 1997 season, where he went on to play 129 games during an at times injury hampered career. He was traded to Geelong, where he earned ultimate recognition of his rucking skills and has played with winning premiership sides twice - 2007 and 2009.

He is the brother of Luke Ottens, and his father, Dean Ottens, was a dual premiership ruckman with Sturt.
