Sam Shaw was Adelaide Crow's third round draft pick in the 2009 AFL draft, and subsequently picked by Glenelg in the SANFL mini-draft for AFL players recruited from outside SA.
Shaw is an athletic player who is strong overhead and can play a variety of positions well. His agility, pace and leap are each outstanding for his size.
He made his League debut for Glenelg in Round 12 2010 against North Adelaide at Glenelg.
