  • Recruited from: Adelaide Crows (SANFL Mini draft)
  • Previous Club: Oakleigh Chargers (Vic)/Xavier College
  • GFC League Debut: Round 12 2010, vs North Adelaide at Glenelg

Sam Shaw was Adelaide Crow's third round draft pick in the 2009 AFL draft, and subsequently picked by Glenelg in the SANFL mini-draft for AFL players recruited from outside SA.

Shaw is an athletic player who is strong overhead and can play a variety of positions well. His agility, pace and leap are each outstanding for his size.

At the end of the 2013 season Shaw, along with other AFL listed players, left Glenelg following the formation of SANFL "reserves" teams in the SANFL for Adelaide and Port Adelaide AFL clubs.
