Mervyn R. Boehm was born in 1930 and died 10th June 1980.
He came into the League side mid- 1949 having made his name as a full back ("goalkeeper" in the language of the day), and filled a number of roles over the next couple of seasons.
Not an automatic choice for the League team, he was named on the extended Reserves list for the 1950 Grand Final.
He was also a solid middle order right hand batsman for Glenelg Seashorses, starting at age 16.
