Mark Viska was a hard at the ball defender. He was a member of Glenelg's losing 1992 SANFL Grand Final team. He also played in the winning Foundation Cup premiership side in 1992.

Viska made his AFL debut for Adelaide in 1993 and played across half-back or in the back pocket.

Recognised for his fearless attack on the ball and the opponent, he spent five years on the Crows’ list but after 13 games in his first season, opportunities at the top level diminished.

Viska returned to Glenelg where he resumed his successful SANFL career. He played 143 games with Glenelg until his retirement in 2001.

His son, Kane Viska, co-Captained Glenelg's Under 16 premiership in 2019.
