Guernsey Number:

Frank Bergin came to Glenelg from Gladstone with a reputation as a centre wingman, but the Bay side received good service from him at half-back as well.

In Glenelg's 1934 Finals series he was thrown forward to the half forward flank with success, using his fast ground work and clever handling of the ball, and kicking two goals in the grand final.
