The foundation of the Club and its entry to the SAFL (later called the SANFL).
In 1920 the Club fielded a side in the Reserves competition. From the first season in A Grade in 1921 the Club had five successive seasons where they won he wooden spoon (ie finished last).
Jack Hanley was the first Glenelg Captain.
Glenelg’s first Magarey Medal was won by H.H. Handby in 1928.
