Biographical

Guernsey Number: 15
Leon Twelftree was a half forward flanker who began his league career with Woodville.
He played Colts football with Woodville while living in the Yorke Peninsular farming community of Urania. He played in a Colts premiership with Woodville in 1974.
He played locally with Port Victoria in 1975, winning an A Grade premiership.
Returning to Woodville in 1976, after only 4 Reserves games he was promoted to the senior side.
Aged only 18, he then struck injury problems and had trouble making the grade. Persistent ankle injuries interrupted his progress, and his form fell away. In 1978 he played only two League games and several times he was reserve for the Reserves.
