"Made his name as a Toyota dealer but played a major part in the rise of Glenelg from an also-ran to pacesetter as chairman for 13 years in the 1960's and 1970's. Also was involved in key years of SANFL development when Football Park was established."
He was awarded Life Membership in 1974. He was also awarded SANFL life membership.
