Career

After returning from the war Ian was based at Warradale Army Barracks waiting to be discharged, where he was invited to play for Glenelg Football Club by committee member Stan Walker & played the full season of 1946 and part of 1947. He is the father of 1973 Premiership player Peter Millard.
