Charles Keam was a a ruckman with a remarkable turn of speed.

Keam had a brilliant record in the East Torrens Association and Amateur League. Owing to ill-health he retired during the 1925 season, and did not play again until 1927, when he appeared with Meadows in the Hills Association.
