LES Lush, new Glenelg full forward, may be forced to change into his football uniform while travelling to the league games for the greater part of the season. He travels from Geranium each week and does not arrive in Adelaide until 2.30 p.m. Glenelg have made arrangements for a motor car to be waiting for the player to rush him to the grounds.

Glenelg are missing the services of Les Lush, their popular forward player, who lives at Geranium in the Pinnaroo District. He had to travel almost 300 miles to play for the Bay team each week, and has now decided to strip for Geranium in the Pinarco Association. Altogether he played 35 games for the Tigers, and kicked well over 100 goals heading the Glenelg goalkicking list in 1938 and 1939 with tallies of 60 and 58 respectively.
