Neil Vea Vea with his trademark dreadlocks and cheeky grin, was a versatile tall who played primarily as a defender but was also used as a back-up ruckman and didn't shy away from having a run through the midfield either. His background was in rugby league, having held a scholarship with the Cantebury Bulldogs, coming back to Australian Rules in the NT 2012/13 season
.
In 2018 he made the move south to try his fortunes with Glenelg, playing 7 games and proving a popular addition to the side. He played only 1 game in 2020 - at Prospect in Round 10 where he returned to the field with broken ribs to help an injury-rattled Glenelg hold on for a narrow win.
