Career

A clever rover/forward pocket who was always dangerous around the goals. His career best was 10 goals versus Norwood in 1940 (in a losing side).

In 1945 he won Glenelg's best and fairest, and he finished 4th in the Magarey Medal, won that year by Port's Bob Quinn.

Prior to joining Glenelg Burt was an outstanding player in the Broken Hill competition, winning the Middleton Trophy (best and fairest) twice in the period 1935 - 38.
