Stanley H. Lewis Memorial Trophy

Glenelg football club are Stanley H. Lewis Memorial Trophy Winners for 1969, 1973, 1975, 1976, 1981, 1990, 2009

Stanley H. Lewis was Chairman of the South Australian National Football League from 1950 to 1961.

To perpetuate the memory of the late Mr Lewis, the League introduced the Stanley H. Lewis Memorial Trophy in 1962. The trophy is awarded to the best performed club across all grades of the competition – since 2010 League, Reserves and Under 18. Points are allocated on the following basis:

  • League win – 100 points
  • Reserves win – 50 points
  • Under 18 win – 50 points

Before the 2009 season the Stanley H. Lewis Trophy was awarded across four grades Leage (100 points), Reserves (50 points), Under 19 (30 points) and U17 (20 points)
