Jamie Vltko was a strong marking, agile key forward, and an accurate kick.

Although his time with Glenelg showed promise, his football really took off once he moved to Norwood in 2005. He was their leading goalkicker in 2006 and 2007. From 2008 he waas used mostly in defence.

In 2009 Vlatko reached his 100 SANFL game milestone.

In 2010 he joined his older brother Jon at the East Coast Eagles (AFL Sydney) where he went on to play over 100 games, winning two best and fairest awards and was a key member in three premierships.

In 2017 he took over as coach of the East Coast Eagles.
