Career

Brian "Tom" Rundle was a very handy forward. Able to kick goals at full forward, he was often relegated to a half-forward flank berth. In 1954 he played a trial match for Sturt, seeking a transfer as he felt he was playing in the shadow of the great Colin Churchett as goalkicker. The season before Rundle had topped the B Grade goalkicking with 89 goals.

Brother of Des Rundle.

Also played District grade cricket for Glenelg, and was 12th man once for South Australia.
